Ellie O’Toole U/18 400m Gold 58.9sec, Aimee McGrath U/18 400m Bronze this was a race we were looking forward to, but the event was decided on times and run over two Heats both girls winning but running against the Clock a straight final would have been a great race. Kevin Kyne U/18 60m was a photo finish Kevin denied the title by 3thousand of a sec. Runo Ayavoro after Heats and Semi finals crossed the line in the Boys U/14 60m 8.3sec to be crowned Leinster Champ in the Final. Mark Glynn set a P: B of 1.58 winning the County Senior 800m and posted 23.6 in the 200m taking the silver Medal, Mark is one to watch in 2016 as he is still competing in the Juvenile section. Aimee McGrath having her first run of the year finished second to a much more experienced Rachel Smith in the senior 800m Aimee has still not reached her 17th birthday and more to come this season. Molly Aspell competed in the girls U/16 800m( not her favourite event) had a good run but finished in the dreaded 4th spot. Runo Ayovoro showed he is holding his good form of last year when blazing across the line to capture Gold in the boys u/14 60m, Luke Walker Browning looked the winner in the U/13 600m but a lapse of concentration in the last 10m saw him caught on the line for the gold but Luke picked up a second Silver in the L/Jump.
