Run Kildare

Three races took place on the Curragh last Sunday 13th May. There was a huge turnout for each event. 1,233 people ran in the 10K, 1,304 ran in the half marathon and 398 ran in the full marathon. Eighteen of our senior club members ran on the day. There was a strong wind that made conditions tough especially for the 10k course which was mostly run on grass making it quite challenging, so finishing times were slow. Despite the wind many of our club members who ran in the half marathon and full marathon managed to run personal best times.
