Junior + Juvenile Results Leinster Indoors 14th+15th February + ( Post on Leinster Juvenile Championships ( Day 3 + 4 ) 7th + 8th of March )

Four of our Athletes who compete at U/17 move up to get experience at Junior level on Sunday, with some great results,  Ellie O’ Toole surprised runners of National grade to win the 400m title in a time of 58.9 seconds. Mark Glynn also put in an 29sec last lap to pass older runners and take a well deserved Bronze medal in the Junior 800m. Aimee McGrath + Caoimhe Murphy competed in the Junior 800m final but in a very hot race finished out of the medals. Meanwhile on Saturday it was the Juveniles Championships medals that were up for grabs, the U/15 girls 800m final was a great race with Molly Aspell in the Newbridge singlet leading the field for the first 500m and with the large crowd cheering on their Club athletes from the twelve Counties a flash of green worn by Grace O’ Toole broke through the leading bunch surging clear with her trade mark gutsy run in the final straight  to capture another Leinster title for the Club.

The Girls U/ 15 team of Tara Murphy, Leah O’ Shea, Molly Aspell, Grace O’ Toole qualified for the final of the 4x200m relay but no medal joy. Our next meet will be the Leinster Indoor Juvenile Indivdual Championships on the  7th + 8th of March closing date for entries Friday 25th February,  also can the children who got notes with reference to the St Patricks parade drop them back to Club
