Kildare Cross Country County Championships 2017 – Juvenile Odd Age Cat and Intermediate.

Another very busy day for the club for both junior and seniors in Suncroft this morning. Starting with big representation from U-9 boys and girls over 500m. Girls U-9 coming in 3rd team led home by Sarah Cole in 3rd overall and boys U-9 coming 2nd team led home by Kyle Byrne Ward in 4th overall.
U-11 Boys and Girls again ran strong races over 1200m. Sophia Whitty leading girls home and Ciaran O’Donoghue leading the boys. U-13 girls ran solid races led home by Anna Kelly.
Mark Glynn came 2nd overall in the U-19’s race.

In the Intermediate races both the Newbridge Women and Men were 1st teams. In the Womens race Sadie Wheatley was 1st overall followed home by Emma Boland 2nd. Alison Duff, Lorraine Kearney and Laura Vaughan making up the victorious team.
In the mens race Mick Coyle was 1st, Mark Glynn 3rd and the victorious team made up by Ciaran Carr, Alan Salmon and Seamus Cardiff.
