Competing for Newbridge AC in the national road relay championships on Sunday the 13th of March in Raheny were Paul Archbold, Paul Campbell and Dave Keenan. This masters team were fantasic and the men really did us proud finishing in 3rd position winning bronze. They were running against some of the top teams and clubs in the country.

They competed strong and put in a massive effort to finish 3rd behind Raheny Shamrocks and Donore Harriers. Paul Archbold ran the first leg which was 1 mile, he ran this in 4:50. Paul Campbell ran the 2nd leg of 2 miles in 10:12 and Dave Kennan ran the final leg of 1 mile in 4:52.

As a sectator watching the men compete was amazing. Each of them equally gave it absolutely everything. They trained extremely hard, their dedication and focus on the day was hugely evident.
